Fun in the Snow!

Several of us got together and we built the ultimate snowman on Sunday afternoon - a great extended family and friends activity! Abby and Tucker enjoyed each other - notice how Tucker tries so hard to be the alpha dog! And poor Abby hasn't seen grass since she left California! Look at all of our snow!

Approved Sabbath Day Activities in Utah!

We received another 15 inches of snow between Saturday night and Sunday morning. So the men and boys all left church during the last hour and went to perform service for ward members by shoveling snow. The pictures and videos speak for themselves on how much fun they had with this "service project!"

Have cat? Will chase!

Okay, this dog is going to be the freezing death of me! A couple of nights ago I let her out to go pee for the last time. Mind you, it was 12:25 am. The neighborhood was stone quiet and it was absolutely freezing and snowing lightly outside. And, silly me, I went out in socks and no jacket because I think this is going to be a quick event. Wrong. Some stupid cat poked its head around the corner on the opposite end of the yard and Abby took off through the snow like a bolt of lightening. She chased it up the street I think because she didn't come back for about 2 minutes. I thought if I yelled, everyone in the neighborhood would wake up thinking something was dreadfully wrong with the little girl by the same name that lives across the street. At least this Abby found her way back home because I wasn't about to chase after her in the snow. I just had to tell someone. The end.
